Coilover install in CNJ

Hey guys,

I recently got quoted by a shop to do a rear shock replacement for $250 in labor.

I read online that people are getting full coilover installs for $200, I wanted to know where everyone is going for that? I might buy a set of coils since my rear suspension seems to be going bad, might as well refresh everything.

1 person said AMS autowerks did it for 175 (not sure if that price would be be the same now), and I know an independent mechanic that will do it for $250

I've shopped around CNJ before for coilover installs. The best price I got was 450$ including an alignment at Linden VW. The well known shops around central/north NJ were all quoting 650-750$.

The rear shocks are incredibly simple to do. Both sides could probably be done in an hour by someone with tools/experience. Don't pay 250$ for that.
