I'm sure they would, but that whole thing with offset and such complicates matters for me as to how much they stick out and/or rub. A friend of mine that does tires told me the 7.5 would take that tire just fine so I tried it.
I've had the the BFG's on now for over 30k miles and they're going strong.
Well, you know after all this talk I chickened out on the 245’s.
I decided on 235’s and dropping the car a smidge on DG springs and throwing in H&R 26/24 bars while I’m at it!
Anyway, for those wondering what 225/50 r17’s look like here’s a shot. Keep in mind these are 7” wheels ET54. At the time, I didn’t realize the onyx were only 7”. Ran spacers awhile but vibration was there no matter how carefully I torqued then in steps. Stock height on Bilstein B6’s.
