2013 gti manual transmission shift forks

I am getting ready for a stage 2 clutch and lsd upgrade. I read that some trannys come with undisirable weak brass shift forks but also read that comes with steel ones. Can anyone confirm before I purchase?

Reading those posts actually brought me here. It's not clear to me if the 2012+ models already come with steel forks.
