I have this sitting in my basement for years. When I was a VW GTI noob, I read that the type C valve was inferior to the type D valve.(INCORRECT) I purchased a type D and had it ready for when my MK6 arrived. The day after picking up the car I pulled the DV only to find that it was identical to the C in my car. Some early type C DV had a diaphragm prone to ripping. his is the new piston type and durable.
So, here is a type C DV from my MK6 used for about 15 miles of driving. Essentially new. Hit will be shipped in the Pierburg box for the type D DV.

Selling my Mk6 GTI cloth plaid seats. They are in very good condition. Any fuzzy/dust spec you might see in the photos can easily be cleaned, heck, I'll even give them some touch up if I get a serious buyer. Took them out to swap for leathers last year. Had them in car for 3 1/2 years prior and I would say that I take very good care of my car's interior condition. NON-Smoker. They've been sitting in my mother's garage. Only the fronts. Selling for $325.00.
