Took a nice Sunday drive to Vernon, NY to pick up a new set of wheels for the GTI. 3sdm0.01 Front 18x8.5 et45, Rear 18x9.5 et40. I want to clean/seal this week and hopefully put on this weekend.

Spent about $1700 on new water pump (upgraded version), valve gasket leak, new upgraded tensioner at the local vw shop. At only 59K miles, it should last me a long time.

New tires and alignment over the weekend. Also finally washed it after who knows how long. Almost traded it in like a week ago, glad I didn't, just needed a little TLC.

Went to Spring Breakdown and had a great time showing off the new wrap.
was a beautiful day and got way to much sun burn lol

I'm a few weeks away from ordering those and new wheels with them. I can't wait to see how they are.

Washed car, put on some Chemical guys jet seal as well.

put in drivers side under seat tray. Went to go do passenger and one of the bolts to mount seat to floor is stripped. So that'll be another day's project. In the meantime, ill be looking to source a replacement bolt. anyone know a part number offhand? im going to go searching now....
