i'm a noobie in the vw world so greetings everybody...
just ordered manual trendline silver leaf plus comfort pack (total $28,250) at Barloworld VW Moorabbin two weeks ago...
its gonna be quite a while before i can get the car which is actually good so i can save up for modifications...
the thing is VW wont do leather seats for the trendline so im planning to get it done somewhere else...
went to Unique interior in Collingwood yesterday and the guy told me no problem..
as you all know the car has airbags on the front seats..so Peter from Unique told me to get the okay from VW and insurance (in writing) since it might break the warranty..
he guarantees that there will be no problem if i ever get into a crash (God forbids)..
so what do you guys think..can i get the confirmation from VW and insurance?
and any suggestion about other good leather trimmers around Melbourne?
fyi got quoted for around 3.3K using Muirhead leather..if its cheaper and same quality i might go for the other place
