P2096/2196 is an oxygen sensor fault on bank 1(1st one)
Do this:
1. Check for leaks maybe put paste on dp flange!
2. If this doesnt work replace the sensor( only 1st one). Ur 2nd one is deleted anyway!

I think the sensor is faulty though as your reading both rich and lean!

Sounds good thanks for the help! I have realized my MPG's are not as good as they used to be as well, maybe 5-6 MPG difference. I'll be checking to see if the downpipe is tight, will report back with results.

I had rich/lean codes a while back. Dealership replaced the faulty sensor under warranty.

I've had these same codes now for a bit. If you come to any definitive solution, pls let me know.

Take it to the dealer! I had my first 02 go bad at just under 36,000 miles..I took it in with 36,030ish and they ALMOST swapped it for free, but sadly no . But I just swapped it out with a new one from ECS and no issues. And they know I'm K04 and don't care.

Should have been free, the emissions warranty exceeds the bumper to bumper.

Are you messing with me? They actually took the car in and charged me over 100 bucks for a "diagnostic" I was there for 2 bloody hours! And then he pulls me back into his office to tell me its going to be over 500 bucks labor and parts because I'm over my emissions warranty! I declined bought the part off ECS before I left the dealership and installed it that weekend.

Nope, federal law requires that all emissions equipment is covered for 5 years and 50,000 miles. If you're CBFA it's 15 years and 150,000 miles.

So I can get this fixed for free? When I took it in a while back ago they blamed my intake for the MAF going bad; therefore, they did not replace it. I haven't taken it back since I fixed this problem though.

If your car is 100% stock and you are throwing a code for 02 sensors it will be fixed for free for sure. If its tuned/aftermarket DP you may have more issues.
