Where one can actually learn to drive?

I'm getting into a GTI or an R this year, I live in east/central Pennsylvania.

Is their a driving school/course relatively close to pick up Driving 101?
I'm not an idiot, I've been driving for 33 years and have drag raced at various strips in the area years back...just doesn't apply here. We didn't have much use for brakes or the steering wheel much!

I run with N.A.S.A racing. They are a great organization. BMW car club of America works but you need to own a BMW first. Their events are also very packed in the northeast and a bit conservative. NASA has the right vibe for me, all sort of cars, great instructors and no attitude.

Lots of SCCA clubs in your area. Go autocross that car, and you will be a better driver for it!

I just did my first AutoX about two week ago. IT WAS AMAZING... best bang for the buck out there I think. You can't beat it for $25 after your an SCCA member.

It was soooo good that I'm hooked.... My next one is on March 27th.

Plus you'll meet a ton of fellow gear heads that will welcome you with open arms.

Here check out it out:
