Replacing Dogbone Mount, what else should I do during install

I am most likely going to order a dogbone mount - what else should i replace while under the car? Is this install straight forward?

Will be my first time working on the MKVI R, did plenty of bolt on work on my 2014 STI before this car.

i see people call the subframe mount the dogbone mount sometimes.

if it's the former one, that actually looks like a dogbone, then the install is very straightforward. if you're doing the subframe one, you'll need to drop the subframe and can be a bit more complicated upon reinstall.

and i agree with visceral, go with the ALK either from whiteline or superpro.

got it! the insert! I've heard mixed reviews on the poly inserts. Things like it breaks down from wear and tear. if you don't mind a bit of nvh, I would say go for the 034 insert it atleast won't break apart when you decide to remove it.
