Since most 2.5s are coming due for belts, tensioners and pulleys I though I'd post this diagram to help Identify them.

Cheers

IDK but all the rollers have bearings, we just past 205K km (+125K miles) so I don't owe those bearings anything, I placed an order to replace them all including the belts. I rev it prety hard at times and with the SRI coming soon I'd rather do it earlier.

It is a bit expensive to replace all of them, so if you budgeting you could remove the belts and spin the rollers, if you sence any rough spots as it spins you need to order up that particular part.

You could hold out and wait for it to start to "howl",... but that's not me.

Your car, your choice.

Any videos anywhere about changing them? Got a quote for $190 from local dealer service dept.
Edit - Found some on you tube (duh) - was asking if any on here.

Seems pretty straight forward. Any advice from anyone that has done it themselves - in the driveway? Looks like
taking off the fender well seems to be best approach.

Save myself about $150 too.

I got some belts from NAPA (made by Gates) and went to install them today.

PAIN IN MY PHUKIN ARSE!!!

I could not for the life of me get the serpentine belt on.

NAPA part no NBH 25050418

I had the idler pulley clocked ALL THE WAY OPEN and that f#kk1n belt was about 5mm short. 2 and 1/2 hours after making up new cuss words I gave up.

I can get the OE belt on and off in like 5 mins. Yes I know it is prolly stretched a bit, but DAGGUMM it would just not go on.

Anyone have the length of the belt? I figure the last four numbers are the length.

That will help for sure.

What I can tell you is that I can get the belt over all the pulleys except 2 or 3. Depending if I am over the or under the motor.

And I have the tensioner clocked all the way open/loose.

I have the fender panels off and the wheel for space to work.

I'll pm you my email.

So that locking pin - is there an allen key I can stick in there? Pretty much what it looks like.

A bit late to help above Member but I found some Belt info that may help. Some times the parts people will give you the wrong belt, coz they assume the belts fit all the 2.5s, see the NOTES for correct Belt.
