Two Different Oil Filters?

Today I planned on doing my first oil change on the mk6, and I purchased an oil filter from the dealership (Part # 06D115562)

I was reading roastpuff's DIY oil change thread (http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3482) and somewhere in the responses, roastpuff said the part # was 06J115403C.

Here is a picture of that part.

Which one is the right one?

edit: double post because I was in a hurry. please delete!

The first part you posted is the FSI filter for the 2006-2008 GTI. The TSI (our engine) uses the filter that I used, and the one that you put as the second link.

Go back to the dealer, smack the parts guy for giving you the wrong part (assuming you mentioned that it was a TSI engine and that it was a 2010 GTI) and get the right filter.

There is actually 3 different oil filters for the 2010 GTI worldwide..
I found this out the hard way

Say what? What's the third filter like? Never heard of three different filters... even for the Euro guys.

This is news to me as well. I'm interested to hear what other filters are used.

Same here. I walked into the parts department at the dealership, asked for an oil filter for my 2010 GTI, and walked out with a paper filter.

I didn't realize the mistake until three weeks later when I tried to do the oil change. I then had to waste two hours of my Saturday driving back to the city for the proper filter. How can a parts guy not know this?
