Just referenced this as well to install the yellow PIAA's. Very helpful, thx!
One thing to note...on my 2013 Wolf GTI...the driver's side fender liner didn't have the easy-access door. Instead it just has the liner and a few torx screws that you undo. I had to stick my arm between the liner to get to the driver's side foglight. Bastards!

Any tricks to getting this wheel well liner oval access door open. It is cold here in SLC now so I think I'll try a blow-dryer to heat up the plastics to make it all more supple. I nearly ripped my fingernails off yesterday

Has anyone tried installing led fog lights instead of halogen?
Are they better/worse/the same as bright halogen bulbs? I understand there could be canbus errors because of the lower voltage with LEDs, as well as heat problems.

Also, any suggestion about where to find either good halogen or LEDs in Canada without having to spend $100+?
