PLEASE don't listen to anyone specific member about a product. As stated in my other post, hang out on the technical sub-forums and read a lot.
I'll help you out with the engine/tranny mount question though, BSH, VF Engineering, and Black Forest Industries make mounts for your car. I'll let you decide which is best.
If you have specific questions about what I have, then shoot me a PM.

Thanks for the advice, Please keep anything coming, I've been reading alot and am pretty excited to get to modding this little car

Am I correct in saying the APR Stage 3 nets the most WHP available as a "kit" without going totally custom.

At the present - Yes. And as APR seems to always state, it's a complete turnkey solution. Or something to that extent.
BSH has a BT kit, but it doesn't come with software.
EuroJet is working on a BT kit that should be really amazing also.

I think from what i've been reading, My starting mod list above is a really strong starting point, along with a set of http://www.velocitymotoring.com/wheels_v710.html with some sticky tires and some tint.
