my initial thought is that this might not be seated entirely - as the engine heats up the gasket expands into place.

other thought is what was being alluded to before, with the old rebreather hose that connects just above the turbo at the intake pipe. if mis-seated there, you'd see weird starts. work rechecking that seating and as a consequence, confirming all the hose connections to the PCV.

also normal RPM at idle after warmup phase for me on stock tune was ~ 1000rpm. tunes you could see as low as 700rpm, varies by tuner.

is there even a way to check the diaphragm on the new PCV before you installed? can you check it now? make sure the spring etc is seated correctly?

Iíve got pilot sports a/s 3+ currently. Very happy with them as far as all seasons. Theyíre definitely starting to wear down after about 25K miles or so, will probably replace with something very similar. Still not in a position where I can run a dedicated summer tire yet.

Out with the old, in with the new. Installed my Beluga Racing catback today. Not as big of a difference as I expected since my stock exhaust was de-resonated, but the exhaust note is definitely cleaner and sounds a bit more aggressive at WOT. Very classy/understated when not on the accelerator.
