Need Help Producing a code - Turbo issues, still no code

Hey guys I drive a 2012 VW GTI Stock with ~88k miles. Over the last 3 months my torque has significantly decreased and the car has lost it's enjoyment. After doing a full carbon cleaning, replacing the plugs, and always putting 93 octane fuel in it there was absolutely no gain in the torque that had been lost.

I brought the car to my local European auto shop and they hadn't found any codes and believed that it could be anything until a code showed up. I drove the car for a couple more months, with still no codes.

Just a few days ago I finally gave up and decided to bring the car to VW. They agreed that there was a major torque loss and they believe that the car needs a new turbo -- stating that they think the turbo is sputtering. Thankfully this turbo would be under warranty.

My issue is that they cannot do anything until a code comes up for the turbo so that they can go through their warranty department properly. I've only ever had a check engine light code come up for a sensor that I had to disconnect. After 50 miles the code disappeared as should. I've been driving the car for months with this issue and there is absolutely no code that comes up even though VW agrees there probably is a big issue in the turbo. Is there any way that I can attempt to produce this code asides just driving?

Over the next month they asked me to drive the car a lot, which I do anyways it is my daily vehicle. After that and I bring it back they believe there will be a code. If there isn't, they'll have to call a specialist.

Ultimately, the greatest thing that could happen is my car throwing a low boost code which would lead to the warranty covered turbo. Is there really any way to create a code or any way of driving that would reveal this code to me? Also is there any possible way that the computer is not receiving this code and is there a way that I could fix that.
Thank you all very much for your time

Can't they check using a Boost gauge? It would seem if the turbo isn't working properly then it should be making less boost which might be enough for the dealer to determine the turbo is failing.

I guess not since I have one installed right on the drivers side even

8-10 sometimes it didn't get up to 10 but that range is really what it was under pressure

Find someone in your area with VCDS (Vagcom cable) to run some logs. Should help narrow down where your problem is.
