i was trying to install APR Stage1 Intake myself
followed everything
but can't remove a bolt or tab beside the fuse box

i removed the bolt beside the battery as followed on the instructions but can't remove the OEM intake cause that last bolt or tab is holding it in
any ideas??

engine code is CCTA

You want the APR manual to determine how hard you are pulling and then tell you to pull harder?......??....?.........

well i nudged it a few times
and didnt budge at all
i would;ve thot that it was a bolt or something
but it didnt' make any sense

i just didnt wanna break anything there cause its plastic and not any sort of metal
if it was metal or something i'd yank the shiet of it

as the manual states that "the entire airbox assembly can be LIFTED out of the car"
which made it sound like it was an easy task

I will have to agree with chanman actually, when I installed my intake, it took me a long time (had to google it) to figure out I need to just pull very hard.

I took out my intake as well, but for installing a shortshifter. The DG guide was thorough.
