So I bought my 2012 gti a few months ago off a used lot locally. They couldn't provide much information as to what was done to it. From the looks of things it had Apr exhaust and cold air intake. Also emailed apr with my vin to find out it has stage 2 93 octane tune as well. First drive on shift it has the psssshh. Later got under it and seen forge possibly a bov. My question is how can I tell forsure that it's a bov or dv. After reading through threads and seeing alot of no no's for bov on these cars wondering how to pin point exactly what's on it. New to the vw world and turbo cars in general. Trying to gain as much knowledge as possible. Thank you.
