Backing out of a narrow garage I broke off most of the rear view mirror.
The mirror motor is good and the turn signal works but almost all parts except the door mount are broken. The wires are all available. I can buy all of the needed pieces except the motor but I want to avoid taking the door panel off and rewiring the switches. ( The dealer on the phone said this had to be done)
Has anyone had such a repair and been able to attach the original wires to the new turn signal,motor and mirror.
