So a minivan pulled in front of me on 101N in San Francisco, and then slammed on the brakes. I slammed on mine, but... hit the minivan.

The airbag deployed and now the JSW is totaled. (yes I know it's called "jetta" but it's a Golf 6 wagen everywhere else.)

Now I have a wild cherry red Tiguan!

Thats unfortunate, thats how my mk6 got totaled too. Good to see you're recovered

curious, did the minivan get cited, or did they tag you (rear end collisions never go well imho)
