SPM or CTS CATBACK

So I'm really torn between which CATBACK to get. I've listened to numerous videos and also searched reviews etc. My tuner said the AWE CATBACK was the best sounding he has heard on a GTI, but I'm still liking the sound of the CTS. I know the SPM CATBACK is somewhat quiet, but has anyone heard of one built with the street axle back with track piping from the down pipe as I have below? I'm military so I luckily get 20% off from SPM and maybe from CTS as well. Trying to order Monday!!!!!

If you have a DSG, do not get anything SPM exhaust related. Period. You'll get terrible drone.

I have a CTS full TBE... It's quiet. It's really only louder than stock when you're stepping on it. That's what I like though.

SPM or CTS CATBACK

Stepping on it as in flooring or applying gas? I do have DSG...what about Eurosport? Like the sound but the cts looks are and finish are awesome! Already got there intake and inlet pipe. Maybe they can use me to sponsor lmao! Also I have a Eurojet catted/Catless DP...pretty sure DP's don't make any difference In sound for cutbacks tho unless you have a resonator.

If you look through some of the threads here on the forum, the SPM is notorious for fitment issues. I wouldn't go with the SPM for that reason alone.

I am running that same SPM setup. I had not fitment issues and install took me about 30 minutes in my garage using ramps. There is a little droning when in certain RPM ranges but the setup I have and the one you have listed doesn't have the middle muffler.

Yeah I think the fitment issues for SPM was when they first came out. CTS is sounding good! Anyone hear the AWE in person? Not many good vids on that catback.

Yeah I like UNITRONIC but I'm trying to spend around 5-700. Would love a BB but I've had my car less than 2months and already put 2k+ with u see 5k miles on her. Eurojet I was going to get to match my downpipe but the cts seems to get better reviews. Eurosport sounds sexy too just not a fan of the straight tailpipes with the muffler hidden

Found this kit for a good price + free shipping. Now I can't decide whether the black diamond tips or polished on my black car. Def between awe and cts now that I've found this kit for so cheap and shipped free!
