17" lightweight wheel options for the R

Sandok

Passed Driver's Ed
Anthracite looks fantastic with Rising Blue. Looks like I'll be grabbing a set of these before next winter!

These are 17x7.5 while the OEM Talladegas are 18x7.5 right? What do you think about the snow performance of those Icebear W300s?

:happyanim: Surprised and pleased to see my pics helping out others!

The stock Talladegas are, in my case 19x8 (18s are also x8), while the goals are 7.5.

Haven't had any issue in snow, the height of the car being the biggest issue. The Icebears are decent in the dry too, which was important for me (tire noise is at a minimum).

Enkei wheel

I have Enkei PF01 18x8.0(ET45) and SC03 ver.MMB 17x7.0(ET45) for winter tires.

PF01 weighs abt.18.5Lb and SC03 ver.MMB abt.21LB. Both fit well and good balance of weight, quality, design and price.:)

I just bought a 2012 mk6 gti I have the stock 18" and I wanted to put 17x9 et 36 (front) and 17x9 et 30 (back) with 205/40/17. Will I have any issues on this setup? Also im not looking on going super low. I just want to cover just the gap.

Start your own thread, brosepheous....

Sounds like that would work with 205 stretch, if you're into that sort of thing ;)
