FS: 2012 VW Golf R - APR Stage III - Black - 2dr - 39kmi - West KY - $25,995!
We are selling our 2012 VW Golf R. It's in excellent condition and is an absolute blast to drive. This particular car has the complete APR Stage 3/III GTX Turbo Kit upgrade, as well as all of the supporting modifications/upgrades for it (HPFP, exhaust, tuning, etc.)
We are located in Paducah, KY (western KY) about 2 hours from Nashville, 3 hours from St. Louis, etc.
This car is a black 2 door with black leather interior, 6 speed manual transmission, and fully loaded. It's a beast of an AWD car too at 443 hp and 422 ft/tq. Here's the cost of all upgrades, not including installation:
- APR Stage III Turbo Kit: $6,500
- APR Carbonio Intake: $325
- APR RSC Turboback Exhaust: $1,250
- APR High Pressure Fuel Pump: $1,100
- APR Front Mount Intercooler: $1,050
- Various Components (Spark Plugs, Wires, Boost Gauge, Etc.): ~ $1,000
TOTAL COST OF PARTS: ~ $11,000.
All of the installation work was done by an APR Certified Dealer/Installer in St. Louis, MO called "Reid Vann".

It's my girlfriend's daily driver and she babies it. It can drive just as normal as any other car, but when you get on it, it'll slam you back into the seat through every gear. The torque is just amazing and puts a grin on your face whenever you push that throttle.
We have all of the maintenance records & paperwork from day 1 since we owned the vehicle. We are the second owners of the vehicle, and have all of the maintenance records and most of the paperwork from the original owner too.
The car has a fully transferable extended warranty good til' 2020 or 70,000 miles that's good for all the mechanical parts of it (yes, including the APR upgrades as they were done through a certified APR installer). So you can be rest assured you won't have to worry about any breakdowns or anything funky going on with the car.
KBB/NADA value on the car without ANY upgrades, is around $27,000 - 28,000. We are only asking $25,995 which is an absolute STEAL. I also forgot to mention it has the euro LED taillights, all tinted windows, wired for an amp/sub, and has a brand new ECS Tuning skid plate I haven't even installed yet (I can gladly install for the new buyer upon request, or you can just have it - $140 or so alone by itself normally).
Why are we selling? Simple - My girlfriend wants a larger vehicle and to go back to an automatic again, so we're getting a new 4 runner. If we had the room and a garage, we wouldn't be selling; but since we already have a couple motorcycles, my daily driver, & my summer car, we physically don't have the room to keep it and get her the new SUV.
I'm pretty flexible when it comes to test driving. We are located in Paducah, KY. Serious buyers only.
