Lamin-X and side bumper grille

How have you guys been able to apply the Lamin-X and successfully getting it behind the side grills on the bumper?

Has anyone removed the grills before applying the lamin-x, and if yes, have you had to pull the bumper?

If i were to do it, i would just buy the sheet and cut after fitting. Ad i think taking the bumper off would be the longest process but the most thorough and efficient to fitment.

I just Cut the little links out, and fit tried to fit it as good as possible . Did a petty good job thanks to my dad.
