Forge MK6 Golf R Development Thread

Hi Mike,
Can you please explain the differences between:
- Forge Blow-off valve adapter / spacer
- Forge Replacement DV upgrade
- Forge Replacement atmospheric blow-off valve upgrade

And which one would be the best application for my Golf R. I have a Stage 1 Revo tune and Milltek Cat-back. The rest is stock.

The adapter is exactly what the name implies. It's just an adapter that converts the OEM valve from a recirculating setup into an atmospheric setup for the sole purpose of creating sound. The factory valve still has the potential to fail, however.

The two full replacement valve options completely replace the OEM valve with a mechanical unit that also has a separate electronic solenoid to allow the ECU to control it, so it is a more durable and reliable option compared to the OEM valve. There is a recirculating version if you want quiet operation, and an atmospheric version if you want sound.
