Golf R jerking / problem

I would suggest what the other guys have said so far- turn TC off, if it still does it, vag the ESC off and see if it still does it. Have you pulled codes to see if the ecu is throwing anything?

What conditions besides rain/snow make this happen? At high speed? Low speed? The more info the better

I had this happen twice while driving in the snow (never in the rain though). Driving around at constant speed, all of a sudden my car decels, drops boost, and bogs down. I was unable to detect actual slippage. It is definitely the traction control taking over the ecu, which is stupid, since it would only make it worse if it were slick I imagine. I am a little bit hesitant to turn off the ESC though, just in case I actually need it when driving in the snow. I know the button doesn't completely turn ECS off though, so not sure what the solution is.

Also, this only happened to me at 30 mph in slushy garbage snow in town.
