I'll update this thread as I get my pictures uploaded to Flickr. These are from last week.

The car sits higher since getting the new coilovers in. This is around ~25" FTG.

The handling is night and day with the Ohlins vs the KW V2, but if I'm honest I prefer how the car looked when I was lower. Sold the 18's now 17's only now.

I still have some parts that still need to go in, I'll update this thread with those and some of my older pictures.

Ready to race!
Long overdue. Great car and the best suspension on any mk6 out there.

Taken the day I picked the car up this was ~Oct/Nov 2010

Taken at Four Season Tuning's old location. Stage 1 tune was done less than a month in and was waiting for my Ultimate Racing catless fully resonated TBE to be installed.

Close up of the 4" rolled tips. I still like how this exhaust had a very stock look to it. I never got hassled the 3 times I was pulled over :iono:

Car was up on the lift at Canyon Racer getting the KW V2's put on. Mike noticed the exhaust was close to the left side of the exhaust tunnel. We adjusted and everything was fine after.

All fixed!

Everything wheels

Playing around with different Iphone photo filters

Car went to VW GG for my 3rd waterpump, this was my loaner

Took me long enough but I finally got first set of wheels :D mid 2012. Work 11R 17x9 +38

General Exclaim 215/45/17 stretcheddd

Too many filters = noisy picture

SSR Type C RS 17x8 +48 w/Continental DW 215/45/17

Just to see what they would look like

Wheels washed ,tires unmounted, and wheel weights removed. Wheels were in really good condition only issue was some minor rubbing on the rear two wheels

Not bad for a 17" wheel

Dropped off at Rotiform

Couple of weeks later...

All new hardware: 42DD spacer/adapter, SSR hub rings, SSR center caps, SSR valve stems, Monster 14mm steel lugs, and Mcgard locks

Mock up with new stickers:D

Rotiform did a cold strip and powder coated in gloss white. I could have gone with something flashier but I wanted the color to be stockish looking for factory SSR Type C RS'. I'm still going back and forth on these wheels. Tires have not been mounted yet. I've been rolling around on my Work 11Rs trying to decide if I should keep a lightweight 17" setup for the track.

I love those Works, they look so good! 17x9 all around looks great at that height and with 215's

This is the used Akrapovic slip on and link pipe I picked up. Already has some heat discoloration no biggie. It might not have as much titanium components as their other exhausts but this is considerably lighter than the stock exhaust a couple of pounds lighter than the UR.

Check out those welds

Over engineered exhaust hangers

Titanium and CF tips

Four Season Tuning taking off my UR TBE. Not pictured the APR 3" DP

Any Socal guys have GoPro I can borrow? I really want to post a video

Thanks! Yeah I liked them sooo much when I was lower, but with the new suspension it looks like a 4x4 :( if only they were 18". I'm close to pulling the trigger on new wheels and tires so I'll be posting them for sale soon.

OEM license plate LED lights

Ordered from BKS Tuning their adapter with the OEM LED

Differences front and back

Before and after

Prefer these to Racing Dash kit only because its using OEM parts and they aren't blindly bright and no bulb-out error no VCDS coding required.

Shopping for wheels. I was originally going to buy these

But I can get a better deal on the black/blue version, probably due to the finish and size.

Any suggestions for powdercoating colors? I'm leaning towards a bright gloss silver or something similar.

Sorry it's little confusing since I've been posting so many pictures but there's a gap of about 2 years between the KW V2's and the Ohlins I upgraded to about 2 weeks ago. I switched because I wanted a street setup I could take to the track.

I really like how the gloss white came out just wish they were 18" instead. Took this quick picture after the gym. The wheel looks bigger since it's in front. I'm thinking 18" even 19" is the way to go.
