I fired up my TDI last night after a spirited drive earlier in the day and I immediately noticed the turbo was noisier than normal. It made a much louder "woosh," and sounded like it could have been leaking. Then, as I accelerate onto the freeway, the glow plug light starts flashing and my car goes into limp mode - would not rev past 2400 RPM and was only making 2 lbs of boost max.
I'm going to inspect the turbo hoses as maybe something came lose? I was on a very bumpy road for my drive earlier in the day, and with my coil-overs & sway bars the ride is far from soft.
Side note: I have been due for my 50k service for a couple months now, though this because of elapsed time since my last service and not mileage (car only has 49,2xx miles).
