GTI Side Skirts vs TDI (Difference?)

Hi All,

I'm working on a TDI to GTD/GTI conversion.

Need some help here. I am trying to distinguish the differences eternally from the TDI & GTD/GTI.

From my understanding, it's Spoiler, front bumper, rear diffuser/exhaust + side skirts.

This is my question. Is the only difference between the TDI & GTI/GTD the add-on sideskirt extension piece that's textured black?

From my understanding that is what it is, since the actual side skirt of my car goes from the front wheel well all the way to the trunk since it is all one piece.

The one thing I want to avoid is having a GTI front bumper that is too low, and a side skirt that doesn't match.

Why not convert to R trim? It's probably the sexiest trim if you ask me although I do like the rear on the GTI moreso. Not a fan of the center exhaust look.

I agree with getting the R sideskirts.
Ill be picking up a set soon for my GTI.
Imo the gti sideskirts are an eyesore.
