What is this hanging from underneath my car??

I'm driving across 2 states currently and a car in front of me swerved around a miscellaneous item in the road but I wasn't quick enough. It went under my car and made a LOUD thump. Sounded like metal being shot through my floor pan.

I pulled over to inspect and see this hanging from under the car. The plastic paneling was also hanging a bit loose. I'm not about to jack my car up on the widow maker to look.

Any thoughts? My first guess was Ebrake cable but someone else mentioned o2 sensor? I haven't gotten a check engine light yet but I believe we removed that CEL after going stage 2.

looks a lot like the rubber grommet which goes on your oxygen sensor wire.. if your O2 sensor was GONE.. the wire ripped off your O2.. you will have a CEL soon if you dont already.

if its a spade you MAY get lucky and be able to slide it back on.
