Dang, i like craig rangoon...unless its like ya know not much crab at all. havent had good craig rangoon in years tbh.

chinese place out by me went under after new ownership. sad you could see it starting to happen. they kept their high prices but changed their food.

egg foo yong turned into premade patties , the dishes started seeing less meat and more vegtables. egg rolls changed...

getting serinos for lunch. pro tip order "serinos dressing" on the side..its basically just herbs in oil but really completes the sandwich.

dang this is actually a really great idea jawn

I haven't found a good chinese place yet. Someone recommended Little Panda or something, in Elgin.

The Lao restaurant, original recommendation per Shawn (whom is Lao)

Anyone can open up a restaurant in chicago with enough money. $40 Deconstructed gluten free pizza at a place that offers no parking and is served up by Carl, the 23 year old who went to Columbia College and laughs at my beer choice. not for me.

cafe babareeba pretty good little place though will admit.

We've been over this. To survive in chicago the food has to be superb, not talking suburbs standards.. There's too much competition, shitty restaurants don't last more than a few months.

I'll check out White Pearl , not too far from me for pickup. Be nice to have a decent Chinese place out here. Otherwise I'm happy with the selection around me.

China Chef in Westmont is excellent. Golden Wok in Glen Ellyn is good. Every other place I've tried in the burbs (and I've tried a lot or them) has been meh to bad.
