thinking about what exhaust to buy and listening to people just rev there engine on youtube doesn't bring out the real sound it will make when your driving. anyone around the north jersey area that has an exhaust what exhaust do you prefer what setup how does it sound? all questions for the first time buyer of an exhaust

EuroJet TBE sounds really nice, and it's in the price range of most other exhausts that are common for MK6 owners.

However, if money isn't an issue for you, and you want to sound like an absolute monster, go for an Akrapovic exhaust. It shouldn't be legal for a car to sound that mean.

I have catless non res downpipe with stock cat back if you want to hear that

curious to how that sounds. i have catted/res downpipe to stock and it sounds pretty good.

i have a catted eurojet dp with a magnaflow cb. sounds pretty good imo.

i'm not really looking to put a downpipe or get a full turbo back exhaust, i'm just looking to get a catback

i have a eurojet cbe. sounds pretty good, enough to make it louder without being obnoxious

Have you heard Milltek? It is fairly quiet, but with a nice bark on up shifts.

They're not cheap, but they are stainless steel, & well made.
There are sound clips on this forum, & on You Tube.
There web-site has a where to buy page.

if your going to keep your downpipe stock there all going to sound fairly similiar in my opinion

where in nj are you?
for your magnaflow on the website it says 3.0 in /2.5 in tubing..what does that mean?

did you buy a 3 in downpipe so it will fit or could it fit on the stock downpipe with the 3 in
