I have a manual 2010 mk6 GTI with the factory HID headlights.
Driver side headlight has since gone out, all fuses are good and I replaced the bulb+balast, still not working.
Important to note, the horn also doesn't work, don't know exactly when that went out but I would think in a similar time frame as the headlight. Also shortly after the headlight went out my car alerted me that the headlight tracking didn't work, that went on for a day or 2 and since has started working again.
I've seen some bulb replacements that come with the wire that goes from the headlight to wherever it goes but my replacement did not. I'm not all that electrically savvy so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, going to a shop or dealer would be a last resort.
