Broken washer hose at hatch

Has anyone had any luck splicing this hose back together? Because its corrugated it doesn't get a good seal with the hose connectors I have in my collection.

If not splicing, how far would I need to go to get to a place where I can run a new (better) hose?

Thanks for the help

there is a repair piece from VW that is an inch long section of rubber hose that is corrugated on the inside to match the washer line. I slide a piece of heat shrink on one end of the broken hose, wipe a small bit of RTV around outside of the corrugated ends on both sides of the break, slide the rubber piece on both ends then slide th heat shrink over the rubber piece and heat it up. I've never once had that repair fail and I've probably done it about 100 times.

Was trying to seal it up with some heat shrink but didnt use rtv or the extra pice of line.
Any chance you have the part number for the repair hose?
