Just test drove a BRZ

I see at least 10 FR-S's a day in Jersey and PA, only one or two BR-Zzzzz's though. It looks like the FR-S is becoming the secretaries car of choice around here, but all the Subies seem to be driven by young guys.

ok... what are you arguing? seems like you are saying stuff just for the sake of saying something. you implied that the toyobaru is limited quantity and you're lucky to find one on a dealer lot. i linked nearly 500 available cars... now you're trying to spin off.
you were wrong, get over it, the toyobaru isn't that rare.

and if you really want to argue... how about we examine just how many GTIs are out there similar to the toyobaru that people might actually cross-shop. so the link i provided before had scions with:

Part of it might come down to a greater supply of FRS's versus BZR's. The owner of my local Subaru dealer said that for every 4 FRS's being built they are only building 1 BZR.

this is basically true^ The Subie version is much lower production, i believe under 10k, while Scion will be doing at least 20k+

I believe the numbers were 20k for the FRS and 5K for the BRZ, It was in this months issue of Motor Trend or Car & Diver, I can't remember. I want to say Motor Trend just recently did a comparo for best handling car, pitting the FRS against the Carerra S and Aventador, to name a few. It didn't win. It's a neat little car, but kinda down on power, and a little pricy. The demand on these things is HUGE, the VW dealer had 3 Golf R's a couple of weeks ago, and there was 1 FRS on the toyota lot down the road. Demand will calm down, and production will increase.

Meh. FWD turbo has been done a million times already. I'll be excited for the next company that releases a proper rwd turbo sports car.
