FS: PTP Turbo Underhood Insulation (MK5/MK6)

I have a very lightly used PTP Turbo Underhood Insulation with one small marking. These are not available any longer. Selling for $325 plus shipping.

DETAILS
Tired of your factory hood insulation deteriorating on your Volkswagen MK5 or MK6? The PTP Volkswagen MK5 and MK6 Underhood Insulation was designed to replace the OEM hood insulation, providing a long-lasting solution that not only looks great, but also provides superior heat protection and noise-reduction over the OEM insulation and traditional OEM insulation replacement options.

The Volkswagen MK5 and MK6 Underhood Insulation starts with a basic width of 1/4" fiberglass insulation with inner and outer layers of black silicone. Kevlar stitching ensures that the MK5 and MK6 Underhood Insulation will provide you with years of protection from high engine bay temperatures. In order to offer the increased protection available with the OEM shield, the PTP brand underhood shield insulation is thicker at key points along the shield to protect your hood from high-heat loading components. Donít be afraid to raise your hood. This matte black underhood shield wonít show dirt and stains, and cleans up easily for rallies and shows. Wipe clean with a dry, lint-free towel.

The MK5 and MK6 Underhood Insulation is a high-quality insulation product that wonít have you replacing your hood shield every other year.

Only Hyde had V1/V2 which were developmental prototypes. I believe he sold them privately, but if this was bought directly from PTP it won't have any fitment issues. I have one of these myself and it fits snug with no fitment/sagging issues.

FS: PTP Turbo Underhood Insulation (MK5/MK6)

PTP makes these special order still. 350$ new/warrantied. Also, PTP confirmed this doesn't fit a mk5. Mistake on their part. Needs different attachment points.
