Steering wheel doesn't give any feedback, how can I change that?

My 2011 GTi doesn't have any steering feeling, when I run over a manhole cover it doesn't feel anything. Is this normal? What can I do to have more steering feel?

Probably the electric power steering. Not much you can do about that.

E-power steering delete kit from ECS works great for this.

I think the mk6 gti still got the old hydraulic power steering doesn't it?
