Apparently this is a Golf R intercooler, which is what AWE is now selling as the S3 intercooler since it has replaced the old all metal design in VAG's inventory system. As per http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56744 this newer model is bigger and flows better than the original all metal S3 IC
