Yeah the sidewall is stiff with these on..but precise in cornering..the V12 are not so precise from my experience..but they do offer a better ride around the city due to softer sidewall. Grip wise, these feel a little stickier, but maybe cuz the sidewall is harder.

Well i have to order something tomorrow, or im gonna miss out on the $100 rebate.

Went ahead and ordered 4 Hankook V12s even though I won't need new tires for a few months. Figured $450 after rebate was a pretty good deal.

For all the PS2 lovin'.. interesting tidbits on dry performance... they are not the best, actually.

The V12's were faster:

BOOM.

Right now, I'm looking at the FAlken Azenis 615's that they are selling for 752 shipped, 652 after rebate, perhaps to grab now for next summer track rubber...

I got the v12's recently. As others have said, they're comfy on the streets but do feel squishy from the soft sidewalls. Can't complain too much though considering the low cost and rebate. Could practically buy two sets of them compared to the cost of some other options.

Insider Tip. Try these out. An HRE manager informed me recently in person that these utilize the same sidewall and very similar compound as the Michelin Pilot Super Sport but at a much lower cost.

BF Goodrich is owned by Michelin

not the best review of them^. I've ran them on my C6, they are decent tho.

You can buy RS3's for not much more than that, however.

But those are not really comparable though due to the difference in treadwear rating. You really can only compare three types of high performance tires:
1. DOT legal pseudo-slicks
2. All out summer grip (wear rating below 200)
3. Summer performance with a more enduro type Compound (treadwear rating >200)

You really can't compare cross-genre
