So do we need it to update our Stage 2 tune or not?

Yes. If you know the code, you can double check it's ready right this second.

Awesome. Confirmed with the APR dealer that my box code was listed. Scheduled Friday to get it updated. Will update ASAP.

Yes! Added: "torque-by-gear helps with traction control and protects the engine from being lugged out in tall gears" to the APR difference above.

Arin, is the launch control system a spark cut only or does it cut fuel as well? (i.e. can I shoot flames?)

Clean, so it cuts fuel. Spark is dirty and dangerous. It's cool, but we don't want you blowing your turbo and catalyst to bits.

Our LC is also fully adjustable - You set the launch RPM with the throttle and brake pedal. You're not locked into one setting.

Our LC also builds boost - Give it more throttle, and you get more boost. Give it less throttle and get less boost.

Any chance it would be by Wednesday afternoon?
Have your dealer put in a request and we'll email him when it's ready.

I've been v2. Something for k04 fit a couple years now, files tested on the track at fastivus before finalized in fact ....... these would not apply for me, yeah?

You have version 3.1 per your sig, which is the latest and greatest. The Stage 1, 1+ and 2 files were never updated (6 years old or so). They are now updated too.

Just to clarify, do the torque limited tunes have approximately the same torque values as the old version 1 files?

I have a stock clutch, so I would like smoother power delivery throughout the power band, but not necessarily more peak torque than my current Stage 1tune delivers.

Also, is the torque by gears a new feature?

Thanks!

More or less. It's far different from the old file, but still basically around the same "peak" value, so to speak. We're offering a flat torque curve. There's some variance between octane and stage, but the goal was to keep it under 290 wheel on our dyno.

Basically, here is wheel torque:

277 WFT-LBS - STG 1 91 - Low
280 WFT-LBS - STG 1 91 w/ Intake - Low
288 WFT-LBS - STG 2 91 w/ Intake and DP - Low

285 WFT-LBS - STG 1 93 - Low
285 WFT-LBS - STG 1 93 w/ Intake - Low
289 WFT-LBS - STG 2 93 w/ Intake and DP - Low

Low output tune is the one you should get.
