I just ordered my resonator. Iíll put up a video of how it sounds when I get it installed. I have a cat less DP as well.

Would love to see a video of that. Especially with the stock catback.

I found a good video of a gti with a DP and a vibrant resonator with stock suitcase. I think itís the perfect combo. I had the Cobb turboback exhaust and Iím more in favor of how this set up sounds.

Might I ask which specification vibrant you all are using?? Thinking about the resonator delete pipe I have but might be interested in throwing one of these in

This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...590_em_1p_0_ti

I think replacing the resonator would be a better option as from all of the resonator delete videos Iíve watched on YouTube it seems to give the car an, in my opinion, bad sounding rasp or something like that. It just doesnít sound very refined but an aftermarket resonator would eliminate that rasp. Or thatís what Iíve concluded thus far.

Thank you!! Are you having it welded in by a shop or are you cutting the old one out and using slip-fit clamps before committing it to welds?

Just ordered one myself! Feel like this will give the car the sound Iíve been looking for and if not Iím not down a whole catback

Going to fully commit and have an exhaust shop weld it in from the get go. I donít think Iíll be disappointed and if I regret it I can always add another resonator or put the stock one back in.

Iím really curious to try out a custom cat back using three of these resonators. 1 where the stock one is and 2 replacing the suitcase haha

Not sure about using three of these in that fashion. Wouldnít smaller mufflers be more sufficient then another pair of resonators?

Youíre probably right on that but I was basing my idea on the sound difference created from this resonator. Iím sure there is lighter and shorter mufflers out there that could be used rather that two more resonators haha

Figured I would update this since I did in fact do it.

It sounds pretty good. Nice. Aggressive. Throaty. It did drone too much for my liking though. A catted and resonated downpipe would probably solve that though. Listening to the videos of my old Cobb setup makes me slap myself in the face for ever getting rid of that exhaust.
