Mk6 GT TSi Aerial Amplified?

Hi guys, I am due to fit a pioneer AVH-Z5000DAB head unit to my Golf this week, and as my car has no original DAB capability, I need to make it DAB ready in every which way.

For sometime I was considering the glass-mount DAB antenna, however I have since found an aerial DAB splitter which would mean that I don't have to install the glass-mount, however it only works with car aerials that are non-amplified.

At risk of sounding naive, does anyone know whether or not the aerial on my car is amplified or not? It has not been modified in any way.
