The 2012 ratio is nowhere near as impressive. Seemed like it's running out of steam after 3000rpm in 5th.

I would assume that you'd have to prove that was on a public road.

140mph is pretty standard for most cars these days. Accord can hit 145mph+ too.

I would expect just about any CAR with more than 200hp or so to hit 140mph if given the chance these days. No telling how long that might take but 140mph isn't what it used to be.

I know when I hit the 100-120 range it feels like a good cruising speed. I have hit 100-110 with passenger who weren't the wiser and when I told them how fast we were just going, they asked me to prove it...

This videos was with 2 passengers both 240lbs+ including myself another 200lbs with some stuff from Chicago lol. So my car weight was probably close to 4000. Bymyself its a shit load faster haha.
What did you MFD readout say at that point. The speedo is roughly 3-5% off in these (and most cars).

145-150 is more like 138-142. Call it 140mph. I know that the MFD Speedo is MORE accurate but still not perfect.

I had to back off at 163mph since I was running out of real estate on a runway (closed for the occasion). No wind and no difference in elevation along the runway which was perfectly smooth and 5000' long. I believe that there was a little bit left, but that will have to wait for another day. I should mention that I rolled off of the taxiway onto the start of the runway at around 60, but had no option but to be stopped at the finish since there was no exiting taxiway... only a deep culvert beyond the runway's end. Helps a lot that I am a pilot at this airport.

Just wondering but did it feel like the car would fall apart at that speed? Like I don't know, a Mustang V6 maybe

The KW suspension helps a lot in the way it feels. The times I've had it over 130 I've noticed that it feels a bit light on a normal road. The runway is new, and billiard table smooth, so it just felt very, very fast. Picking the right braking point was the real question.

Yesterday, GTI did 122. I have however gotten my BMW 335 with a Dinan Chip to 155 and subsequently was pulled over and handed a very serious ticket saying I was going 102, speeding, reckless driving. You do not want this type of ticket!!

It was just a joke, but sure

And no DA is going to waste his time on pursuit of a speeding ticket anyhow.

Stock on Highway 122
Stage 1 on track 128ish
Stage 1 on Highway 140 before chickening out with still room to go.
