Cold Start + Normal RPM = Weird?

This is normal. The secondary air pump doesn't come on either when it's below freezing. No reason to worry.

I asked this question in the other thread, I use a remote starter and freaked out a little when I couldn't hear it when taking a shower but same thing when I got out of work. The few days it was warm it would idle up but whatever.

Yeah the same thing happens to mine.

I've been able to notice a pattern over time, usually when its above freezing it will start like normal, and when it's below freezing it will start and immediately go under 1000rpm.

Fine with me and my catless downpipe :iono:

Thanks for the info. I was getting worried something was wrong lol. I havent driven her much lately, waiting on my new tires to come.

I know this is an old thread but temps in NY have been very low recently and my car has not been cold starting (intermittenly) for like 2 weeks now. Reading thru this made me feel so relieved lol. Thank you everyone
