APR Stage 1+ without upgraded HPFP?

if i were to do an APR stage 1+, have anyone done it without aftermarket HPFP? does it make a huge difference?
my R right now is all stock, im just curious about this.

Without an HPFP, you're just Stage 1.

If you're talking APR that is. If you're talking UM or Revo or some other, then that's different...

Probably better in the long run. Mine has been fine so far with stock HPFP

The HPFP is probably my favorite power mod. It really fattens out the power band. If I were you, then I'd start at stage 1 and then get the hpfp when you are bored with it.

The "+" tune is calibrated for a higher requested fuel rail pressure. If you are on stock HPFP then your actual pressure will be way below the requested across the rev band, your will be running too lean and your AFR will be off... just flash the right tune for the right hardware man.

And throw in the intake as well. From apr claims it's a huge difference maker.

I had the Revo map put on the car and its the best thing I've had done it. Its so much smoother and the power when you need it. Very Happy with mine.
