Old thread but...from what I've read on here ECS bought them out. If you go on the ECS website it says "Now exclusively available at ECS Tuning... Steve Petty Motorsports"

all of this happened before they got bought out. there was literally no where to purchase it. their website did not even show the product.
ive dealt with spm before and was treated completely differently.

first thing he tells me is that it wont quiet things down? its a muffler. it's gonna do it's job and "muffle" the sound
i know it wont be silent. but dropping down 4-5 db's is a large difference and even a the tiniest of mufflers would do the job.

i tried to avoid going the custom route due to cost.
their customer service department has gone downhill and everyone knows it.
whenever i wanted to sell stuff at work, i made a sales pitch whether they wanted one or not.
it takes less than 15 seconds for them to give me a link on where to purchase it(at the time, no one was selling it. it wasnt on any website, but it did exist) or at least a price on purchasing it from them directly.

am i going overboard? yea. people do that. thats why the forums are filled with NEGATIVE things about cars over positive.

you look up waterpump failures for vw and there are thousands of threads bashing vw and calling it crap
but is it? no.

At the end of the day, you're the one driving a turbo yaris, not me.
