Just finished hours of driving and a log on NGK plugs gapped to .026. It was a SUCCESS. I had OEM plugs I never touched in that are around 10K old. NGK's made a notable difference in my butt dyno. But they show a decrease in 2 degree timing compared to my old log, and occasionally a little over 1 degree more than others on 1 cylinder. I'm going to recheck that gap.

Log: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3yBUOtnRj3TWVNmZGJaY01HMDA/edit?usp=docslist_api

Here's a comparison of the 2 logs to make it easier to see the difference. Top section is NGK's. Bottom half is OEM

Why are you gapping to 0.026? I think it should be 0.028.

If you run the BKR8EIX (one-step colder) plugs we are reccommending 0.026" for those plugs. These will be the new recommended plug for v3.1

If you run OEM plugs now or any of the 7 heat range varients, gap them down to 0.028". Most come gapped from the factory to 0.032" so they need gapping.
