Hey VDub, I believe that i have the exact same problem as you, I sent my ECU to APR and they also said they had to solder something, and that it was actually a service bulliten posted by VW. I got the ECU back, everything was running beautifully (no CEL or radiator fans running), But after exactly 100 miles the EVAP Code as come back again. I am curious as to what you did after getting the EVAP code back again. Thanks.
