  • Here are my conclusions and answers to your questions;

    Installation time:

    Took me and a friend approx. 3 hours from start to finish.


    Ease of installation:

    On a scale of 1-10 (1 being easy). I would say 5. Installation instructions are very much point.


    Power:

    Very marginal difference. Perhaps, 5hp max. Tends to pull better from mid to high range.
    I was surprise that there was No Turbo lag felt.


    Weight:

    Slightly heavier than the stock slimmer intercooler. End tanks are cast aluminum, which helps dissipitate more heat than the factory plastic end tanks. Tank design and size is significantly better as well.



    P.S. As most forced induction owners/enthusiasts would agree. The main reason a larger, better flowing, better cooling and more efficient intercooler design helps in the following categories;

    - Less heat soak effect . (Heatsoak is what kills brings power down on F/I engines).
    - Less chance of pinging & detonation.
    - Less pressure loss.
    - Cooler air has more oxygen, which helps make more power with additional fuelling.
