Looking into a Stage 1 for my 2011 Golf TDI. My only concern is that I obviously still have lots of time left on my warranty, and I also have one other question. I don't know exactly how different company's tunes differ, but I did see that Malone tuning recommends removing the DPF due to engine EGT's for their Stage 2 tune, which looks to give comparable performance of Unitronic's Stage 1. I just want to better understand why removing the DPF is not necessary with Unitronic's Stage 1. Thanks!
