I need to upgrade my cecm from a midline to a highline in order to get my highbeams to work with my new LED Xenon headlights. I have found a cecm from a '10 GTI but I have a '12 Gold TDI . The basic part number is the same (1KO 937 087 F for the '10 GTI and mine is currently 1KO 937 086 P for my Golf. Do you know if I need to get a specific highline for my proper model year or will the GTI work? Thanks
